As CEO of SitePen and co-founder of the Dojo Toolkit, Dylan is best known for building web applications that make use of JavaScript/Ajax, Dojo, and other standard web development technologies. He has helped develop web apps for companies including Renkoo, Informatica, Security FrameWorks, and Vizional Technologies. Dylan earned his Masters in Physical Chemistry from UCLA and his B.A. in Mathematics from Whittier College.
As Director of User Experience and the first employee of SitePen, Torrey oversees all UI and visual design and has been at the core of SitePen's success since the beginning. Self-taught, Torrey has a keen understanding of both development and interaction design. His ability to assess and design for technical limitations makes him an invaluable asset to the SitePen team. Torrey's previous stints include work with Renkoo, ActiveGrid and Loomia.
As the Director of Engineering, Jason leads SitePen's powerful development team to insure that SitePen web apps are extraordinary. Jason is a phenomenal engineer with expertise in JavaScript, Java, and PHP, experience with Dojo, Ajax, Comet, Mobile development, and is an expert at systems and database scalability. He has made significant contributions to numerous SitePen initiatives including work for Sun Microsystems, Soundflavor, Me.dium, Ambassador Media Group, and Fox Interactive Media. Jason previously worked at Vodafone, and knows way too much about mobile carriers and networks.
In addition to leading the charge on SitePen’s high profile client development, Dustin is an active contributor to the Dojo Toolkit and Operations Lead for the Dojo Foundation's many projects. Prior to signing on with SitePen, Dustin was the Planning and Development Lead at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech. A software developer since his youth, Dustin's career has been spent focused on systems administration and high performance computing.
Carrie Sackett heads up operations at SitePen, including the management of the accounting, legal, public relations and human resources departments. Carrie’s background is in operations and administration, with several years working for major investment banking and venture capital firms including CIBC World Markets & Smart Technology Ventures. She received her B.A. in Economics from Loyola Marymount University.
