As CEO of SitePen and co-founder of the Dojo Toolkit, Dylan has grown SitePen to be recognized as the leading provider of web development and consulting services offered by an unsurpassed team of software engineers, designers, and consultants. Dylan is an expert in the technologies and opportunities of the Open Web and his commitment to R&D has enabled SitePen to be a major contributor to pioneering open source web development toolkits and frameworks like Dojo, cometD, and Persevere. Prior to SitePen, Dylan developed web applications for Informatica and a variety of start-ups. Dylan earned his Masters in Physical Chemistry from UCLA and his B.A. in Mathematics and Chemistry from Whittier College.

Torrey Rice

Torrey RiceVice President, User Experience

As Director of User Experience and the first employee of SitePen, Torrey oversees all UI and visual design and has been at the core of SitePen’s success since the beginning. Self-taught, Torrey has a keen understanding of both development and interaction design. His ability to assess and design for technical limitations makes him an invaluable asset to the SitePen team. Torrey’s previous stints include work with Renkoo, ActiveGrid and Loomia.

Carrie Sackett

Carrie SackettVice President, Operations

Carrie Sackett heads up operations at SitePen, including the management of the accounting, legal, public relations and human resources departments. Carrie’s background is in operations and administration, with several years working for major investment banking and venture capital firms including CIBC World Markets & Smart Technology Ventures. She received her B.A. in Economics from Loyola Marymount University.

Alan Havey

Alan HaveyDirector, Project Management

With over 25 years in technology, Alan has participated in all aspects of technology and project management. His experience includes senior technical roles and most recently, as CTO, he led an early development of a global digital media distribution and management platform and completed development and release of a browser based video management and annotation product. He’s led strategy and enterprise architecture initiatives for Fortune 50 companies and small technology startups alike. Alan has a MS in Computer Science from Santa Clara University.

Jason Cline

Jason ClineDirector, Support Operations

As the Director of Engineering, Jason leads SitePen’s development team to insure that SitePen web apps are extraordinary. Jason’s engineering expertise lies in JavaScript, Java, and PHP, with extensive experience on Dojo, Ajax, Comet, Mobile development, and systems and database scalability. Jason previously worked at Vodafone, and knows way too much about mobile carriers and networks.
